Fort Worth has the #1 dog park in America, according to Dog Fancy magazine. I've been to Fort Woof (what a great name!) many a time with my beloved labradoodle, Zoe. She loves it there, and I do, too.
There are plenty of tennis balls, frisbees, and other dogs to play with. There's even an obstacle course! It's also a great way to meet new people who are fellow dog-lovers.
Here's how to get there (directions from the Fort Woof website): From I-30, exit Beach Street, head north on Beach Street for approximately a quarter of a mile, and turn right at the Gateway Park sign. Then proceed another quarter of a mile; Fort Woof Dog Park will be on your left.
